[ Challenges of Conventional Technology ] The processing of a full-circle sharp edge shape (needle tip shape) could not be addressed by traditional press processing. In lathe processing, only about 2 to 3 good products could be produced out of 1000, and grinding processing became extremely expensive, making it impractical for use as disposable parts. [ Solutions Achieved by JKB ] By developing a method to shape using press processing, it became possible to supply products at a cost less than one-thousandth of that of grinding processing, enabling the practical application of the product.
